Bowling Green, KY and South Central KY region – CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of South Central KY, Inc. is a non-profit agency dedicated to preventing and eliminating further trauma to children. CASA provides support, advocacy, and intervention for abused, neglected, and dependent children in South Central Kentucky’s Family Court Systems. A CASA volunteer is a court appointed, trained and committed adult who ensures that each child’s individual needs remain a priority in an over-burdened child welfare system. Our next 30 hour CASA advocate training schedule is set to take place on the following dates from 5:30 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.:

Tuesday, October 27th – The Law
Thursday, October 29th – Cultural Competence
Monday, November 2nd – Understanding Families I
Tuesday, November 3rd – Understanding Families II
Thursday, November 5th – Understanding Children
Tuesday, November 10th – Communication
Thursday, November 12th – Gathering Information
Tuesday, November 17th – Reporting & Monitoring
Thursday, November 19th – Putting It All Together
Court Observation & Oath – When available
Personal conflicts with these dates does not rule out this training. You must be 21 years old to become a CASA advocate.
