CASA Advocate Training Schedule

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of South Central KY, I c. is a non-profit agency dedicated to preventing and eliminating further trauma to children. CASA provides support, advocacy, and intervention for abused, neglected, and dependent children in South Central Kentucky’s Family Court Systems. A CASA volunteer is a court appointed, trained and committed adult who ensures that each child’s individual needs remain a priority in an over-burdened child welfare system. Chapter 7 Understanding Children Wednesday, July 26, 2017 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Chapter 8 Gathering Information Wednesday, July 26, 2017 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Chapter 9 Reporting & Monitoring Friday, July 28, 2017 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
 Chapter 10 Putting it all Together/Court Oath & Observation Friday, July 28, 2017 / TBD 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Personal conflicts with these dates does not rule out this training. You must be 21 years old to become a CASA advocate.  All training takes place at Warren County Justice Center.
