CASA 101 – Warren County

Curious about CASA? Your chance to learn more about the difference that CASA Volunteers are making in children’s lives in our community, and how you can get involved, is coming up! Join us for CASA 101 on Tuesday, December 17th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM at the Warren Co. Justice Center (4th floor, Hearing Room 1) for an informative session.
Questions that will be answered:
• How can you become a CASA volunteer?
• What do CASAs do for the children in the Family Court and Foster Care systems around the region?
• What does the CASA Volunteer training entail?
• How many hours a month does a CASA need to dedicate to the case they are assigned?
Our next training session is in February:
Saturday, February 8, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Saturday, February 15, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Saturday, February 22, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Saturday, February 29, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
RSVP to Steve at Steve@CASAofSCK.org or 270.782.5353 by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th.
For children who have been abused and neglected, CASA means having a home instead of feeling lost. Being a priority instead of feeling invisible. Having someone speak up for them when they can’t speak for themselves. For volunteers, CASA is a life-changing experience that impacts our community and makes it a better place.
